|Thank you to all who participated in the 2011 Winter Vision Meetings. We look forward to seeing you all at the 2012 Meetings in Colorado.|
Welcome to the IEEE Computer Society's Winter Vision Meetings!
This meeting is a set of co-located workshops to be held January 5-7, 2011:
- Workshop on Applications of Computer Vision (January 5-6)
- Regular WACV application papers
- A track on Biometrics
- Workshop on Motion and Video Computing (January 6)
(embedded as a WACV track this year -- see separate call for papers)
- Workshop on Person-Oriented Vision (January 7)
Please see the web sites for the individual workshops for the respective calls for papers, deadlines, paper submission, and contact information as they become available.
All of the meetings will be covered by a single "passport-style" registration and will run from approximately 3:00-10:00 p.m. each day, allowing plenty of time for morning and early afternoon activities at the hotel or neaby Kona. Dinner is included in the registration and will be served buffet-style during the evening poster sessions.
Meeting proceedings will be published electronically on IEEE Xplore.
Meetings and lodging will be at Sheraton Keahuhou Bay Resort and Spa on Hawaii's big island. The room rate for meeting participants is $139/night (only $119/night for students). Meeting participants also enjoy an exclusive discount rate at any Sheraton in Hawaii for three days before or after our meetings. See the "Venue/Accommodations" page for more information on the hotel, meeting spaces, amenities, and reservations.
